Operator Eligibility
The machine must only be operated by a competent and responsible person. Operators must be at least 18 years of age. No special licence is required, however prior experience is recommended.

Safety Responsibilities
The operator is responsible for safe and correct operation of the equipment. All works must comply with WorkSafe Victoria requirements and appropriate PPE must be worn at all times.

Before You Dig (BYDA)
Before any excavation work, hirers must contact Before You Dig Australia (BYDA) to identify underground services and ensure safe digging practices.
04.
Machine Use & Care
The equipment must be used only for its intended purpose. Any faults, damage, or unsafe conditions must be reported immediately. Misuse or negligence remains the responsibility of the hirer.
